Chapter 1:

Back from scouring in several Japanese cities including Tokyo, Victor Volt and Anita Knight flew their skybikes over to the U.Z.Z base and met up with Victor's godmother Gardevoir.
"So?" Gardevoir asked anxiously.
"What?" Victor wanted to know.
"Did you find the Amaterasu?" Gardevoir asked, referring to the fiery-paletted jewel they were supposed to find.
"I don't think there is such a jewel." Anita dubiously answered.
"What do you mean?"
"We had been going around, asking the Japanese about it all day, and every time, they'd look at us like we were speaking an alien language."

Every year during December in a little cottage at the North Pole, it was Kris AKA Santa Claus's job to deliver presents all around the world. It was also his job to wrap the presents as well since whatever he touched was instantly wrapped.
